The Lipacid Line constitutes a cosmetic breakthrough in the treatment of oily blemished skin. The product range was developed by the research and development department of Gigi Laboratories.
Lipacid is an active antiseptic substance with similar properties to Benzoyl peroxide. Used by skin specialists to treat acne and seborrhea, Lipacid is produced from amino acids, which have anti-microbial properties and consequently act on a wide range of pathogenic (negative) microbes. The products were dermatologically examined and tested on patients in a medical institution and were endorsed as being highly effective for treating oily skin problems, particularly papules and pustules. The Lipacid Line has been approved for cosmetic use by the health authorities.
For teenagers and even for thirty and forty year old adults, acne vulgaris remains a troublesome condition. Acne is generally related to considerable psychological distress, and this in turn, may intensify the condition.
Acne is a physiological process resulting in over activity of the sebaceous and endocrine glands. It starts with increased sebum discharge, which causes over-keratinization of the cells and induces blockage in the follicle entrance. Sebum is unable to surface, causing comedones to be produced. Further development involving germs will generate pus, which induces papules, pustules, and if neglected, even nodules and cysts. When skin is under stress, immediate, efficient and professional treatment should be given adapted to the specific problem.
It’s time for Lipacid
The Lipacid line addresses acne at every stage and comprises products for controlling sebaceous discharge; anti comodones (black-heads) products; preparations for treating over-keratinization of the cells; products with anti-macrobiotic potential which decrease development of pathogenic germs; soothing and anti-inflammatory products.
Seborrhea is caused by over discharge of sebum and results in oily facial skin and dandruff. This chronic inflammatory skin condition is common to men and women, and in the case of teenagers, by stress.
Lipacid products for seborrhea have been dermatologically tested on human skin, authorized for cosmetic use, and declared effective in treating seborrhea.
